SANNI-Renovation Well – An Easy Solution for Renovating an Old Concrete Well

The SANNI-Renovation Well is a plastic well designed for renovating old concrete water or ring wells. Its diameter is 800/860 mm, making it suitable for installation inside a conventional old concrete well.
During renovation, the old concrete well does not need to be completely dismantled, nor does a new well need to be built from scratch. The SANNI-Renovation Well is installed inside the existing well, replacing the old structure—with its leaking joints and difficult-to-clean concrete surfaces—with a seamless PE plastic well.
SANNI is particularly suitable for wells whose concrete ring joints leak or into which sand, soil, roots, or surface water can enter. The seamless, smooth-surfaced PE pipe creates a durable, hygienic, and easy-to-clean well structure.
The SANNI-Renovation Well is designed and manufactured entirely in Parkano, backed by more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing water wells. The well pipe is manufactured using our own extrusion equipment from food-grade, two-layer PE pipe suitable for drinking water use.
The well pipe is designed to withstand Finnish soil, frost, and varying weather conditions. SANNI does not require the old concrete well for structural support; instead, the existing space in the concrete well is utilized for installing the new well.

Installation
Before installation, the old concrete well is emptied and cleaned. At the same time, the well’s inner diameter, depth, and bottom structure are inspected.
If necessary, the SANNI-Renovation Well is sawn to a suitable length and lowered inside the old concrete well.
Washed drainage gravel or crushed limestone is added to the bottom of the well and to the lower section of the SANNI-Renovation Well. This material supports the lower section of the pipe and allows water to flow into the well.
The upper section and edges between the SANNI-Renovation Well and the old concrete well can be filled with a water-impermeable material, such as clay. This prevents surface water from flowing into the well through the space between the pipes.
Finally, the cover is installed. The two latches on the cover can be locked with a lock selected by the user, such as a padlock.
The installation method and any required foundation work depend on the structure and condition of the well being renovated, as well as local conditions.

The product includes the well pipe, cover, and cover latches. Pumps, water pipes, pipe penetrations, a lock, and other well accessories are not included in the delivery.
Check the Dimensions Before Ordering
Before ordering, it is advisable to measure the inner diameter of the old concrete well at several points throughout the entire installation depth.
The concrete rings may be tilted or displaced, and there may be protrusions on their inner surfaces. The outer diameter of the SANNI well is 860 mm, so the well must have sufficient free space for lowering the pipe into place.
Delivery
Due to its size, this product is delivered by truck freight, or it can be collected from our facility in Parkano.
Truck freight is calculated automatically at checkout when you enter the delivery address.
You can choose the delivery method:
- Without unloading, in which case the customer is responsible for unloading the load
- With crane unloading, in which case the driver unloads the load at the delivery address
Please ensure that the delivery address is accessible to heavy vehicles without obstruction.
